Simple to use and cut hose nicely. Better than using a pen knife and no mess.

I used this hose cutter to shorten my Shimano brake hoses (following the guide on here - which worked really well!). Cutter performed brilliantly, nice clean level cuts.

Bought this (together with the bleeding kit) to cut (shorten) hoses of Shimano XT brakes. Works wonderfully and cheap compared to other similar tools!

For the money its fine, does the job. The blades are sharp and it cuts straight and didn't leave any of the braided parts sticking out. I did have to actually stamp on it to get through completely though!

Terrific little tool Very easy and quick to use. I know I could have used a Stanley knife but this is so easy and you can be confident that it's all square and will work.

simple easy to use little tool. Used it to alter length of my new brake hose and it cut it with ease and left the hose with a good clean cut. why pay silly money for a fancy tool you only use here and there when this little beauty will do the job.

I'm kind of a "tool-guy" and I don't like cheap tools. I was planning on getting one of the fancy pants cutters from one of the big names for ~100 GBP but ordered this with my bleed kit because "why not, for this price I can just look at it and have a laugh".

But after using it now several times on different kinds of hoses I'm very glad I didn't spend that money and I can see no reason why anyone ever would. This works brilliantly every time, five stars!

Shortened the hoses on my new XT brakes with this cutter, no problems at all, perfectly square hose ends.

After trimming brake and reverb hoses with a stanley knife in the past, this cutter makes life a lot easier. Seems good quality and makes a very clean cut, a workshop must! Great price and excellent customer care as always! Impressed!
