Exactly what you need

I wanted something in order to take my 2018 revs apart to get at the tokens. This fits like a glove and enabled me to get to the tokens in no time. A couple of minutes later and I’ve put them back and all is sorted. Simple but effective.

Great tool

I've rounded off fork top caps before, this tool prevents that.

Great

Fit the topcap perfectly and didn't mark it when undoing.

Gests the job done

Gets the job done with minimal risk of damage to the top cap. You get the 6 sided connection without grinding down a socket wrench or buying the expensive fox option. Just make sure you get the right size, recommend measuring the top cap before ordering, I initially got the wrong size for my Fox Rhythm 34 fork as it had the same size as the regular Fox 32.

Better than slipping sockets!

After purchasing this a while ago I got to use it for the first time whilst servicing my Reba's. There's not a lot to say other than it worked perfectly and left no markings on the black coated nuts at the top of the air and damper tubes. It looks like it will last forever as the fit is perfect, so no gradual rounding of the tool or your top cap nuts.

Great bit of kit, looks bling too!!

I use this on my 36’s and it’s spot on. No rounding of the edges of the nut. It’s great not to have to find the adjustable spanner or socket set which aren’t as good. My biggest issue is tracking it down as a mate has usually borrowed it!

QUESTIONS (1)

My fork is a 2016 RockShox Lyrik. Why do I need a 24mm & 30mm spanner for my fork?

RockShox Pike (2014-17) & Lyrik (2016-17) have two different sized top caps. On the air side there is a 24mm top cap and on the compression side (Charger Damper) there is a 30mm top cap, hence the need for both sizes. If you're only servicing one side of the fork then you can get away with purchasing only one spanner.
