Great kit, very easy to use, once you have got it in your head what you need to do and the order to do it the actual bleeding took all of five minutes per brake.

I have always been put off bleeding brakes myself after various failed attempts but I have to say with this kit and the detailed easy to follow online instructions it was a straight forward process. Would defiantly recommend this product.

I've used this a lot with no problems, The only issue compared to the official shimano kit is the fact that the adapter on the resevoir syringe gets mngled over time, this is the essential bit so it would be good to have a spare one. Also an extra syringe to get the fluid out of the resevoir one would be good as otherwise you end up using the clean syringe to do the job, which is not the best.

First time user here, the kit is easy to use, they provide step by step guide aswell. I recommend this product for everyone. Buy an extra container of mineral oil though if you want to fully bleed both brakes :)

I bought this kit after many years of bleeding my brakes with an el 4 75cheapo ebay bleed kit which always resulted in frustration and brake fluid over me and the floor. This time I followed the instructions included and all went smoothly. The instructions say that if the fluid is very discoloured, you may need to re bleed the brake to make sure all the old fluid is flushed through. I in fact had to do the process 3 times to achieve this, so it might be worth ordering some extra brake fluid with the kit.

Kit comes with everything you need to do the job including easy to follow instructions. All this at a really good price.

My order arrived promptly and the kit came with very clear instructions so the bleed process was easy to follow precise in the actions necessary to exclude all air from the system. This resulted in rock solid brakes that I have not had to re-bleed in the 6 months since The kit arrived. One word of warning - Don't forget to buy the small spanner that fits your bleed nipple!

All the parts received were what I needed to bleed my brakes. The comprehensive instructions were clear and made the job easy.

I used this kit on my older Saint brakes. Read through many instructions on how best to bleed brakes as the paper provided was a little graphics-light and text-heavy. Youtube also helps :) I ended up bleeding by the caliper -> brake lever method to push out the old oil. The attachment lever for clipping the hose onto the caliper nipple is an extremely tight fit. I ended up chucking it in favor of a small zip tie. If you are flushing the system, go with an additional 100ml bottle of oil for peace of mind. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to bleed their brakes, for the newer Shimano systems it would be even easier to use as they have screw-on nipples.

It goes without saying that any rider should a brake bleed kit in their toolbox. The Shimano kit is a must have for a home mechanic or just a rider as it is an easy way to save a visit to your local bike shop.

Does what is says, bought this to bleed 3 brakes because 1 was broken. Easy to follow instructions, brakes now work perfectly.

Bleed kit work for both the new canyon shimano disc road bike and my old specialised rockhopper with Magyar Julie disc brakes. Had to bleed both more than one to get it just right but quite straightforward.

Was recommended this company by a local cycle specialist. Fast delivery,easy to track. Worked perfectly,useful video. Used minimal amount of mineral oil so did not need to order extra bottle.

The kit was very adequate quality, contained everything required (unlike a lot of kits available) and worked well as expected. I had some minor leakage from the hose around the bleed nipple even with the tube holder slid right over it, but i assume that is normal and was not really an issue.

Easy to choose compatible product with your brake system. Speedy delivery. Everything works as it should, simple and quick. Instructions are good but still had to check out a tutorial video. Brakes are now more accurate and snappier/powerful. All that for a very affordable package. I did splash for the second large bottle but that turns out to be a lot for only one bike.

Never bled bike brakes before, but plenty of cars and motorbikes. Using the supplied kit and instructions I was able the get a perfect lever after replacing both calipers. A lot more fiddly than a car but got there thanks to the kit and instructions. Would recommend this product to any home bike mechanic.

It worked quite nicely, this iwill definitely do for simple cases. since my cables are pulled trough the frame, it required abit of cheating, but the brakes work beautifully now.

I've used an Epic solution a few times now and I've never gone wrong (due to the kit). The kit is perfect for what it is meant for, get one use it and go ride with renewed confidence in your brakes.

The kit worked just fine & the brakes are now in good working order. VFM as less pricey than manufacturers own equivalent.

For years I let my LBS sort my brakes as they're brakes so somewhat important as I'm an engineering buffoon. Then my LBS shut down so I thought I'd give it a go myself. It's a doddle following the instructions on this kit. Well worth the effort.

Epic's syringe and fittings are superb. The little doohickey that keeps the bleed nipple locked on to the hose is particularly useful. The only downside is that I found that the master cylinder reservoir works better with Shimano's own bleed cup – it's less messy and easier to move between levers due to its little plug.

Cheaper than any other brand. It does the job, and the instructions provided are good enough even if you're a newbie to brake bleeding.

This is the second kit I've bought from Epic, the first being the sram version. The kit arrives with all the items you need as well as crystal clear instructions with supporting pictures to guide you through the process. The brake block is particularly useful.

Ripped the front cable out of the brake lever during big off. Felt a bit aprehensive fixing the proble but 'Eoicbleed" supplied all the information needed. A doddle really.

It was the first time I have ever bleed a brake system before I watched a you tube video and decided to give it a go. The system I brought was so easy to use and it fixed my brakes no problem. I am glad I purchased extra brake fluid ready for the next time.

A quality/quantity bleed kit that contains everything you will need. Instructions included and online pdf guide you through the necessary steps you must undertake in order to bleed proper your brakes. Another plus of this purchase is that package came fast.

Followed the instructions to the letter, got an awesome bleed on the rear. Not so good on the front, but that was down to old dirty fluid still left in the system... didn't like the plastic tool for clamping the hose onto the bleed nipple, it was annoying after a while, especially with oily hands, but that’s just my opinion. Also didn’t get the bleed block with the kit, so used the genuine shimano (yellow coloured ones) instead!!! All in all, a brilliant kit and well worth the money. It’s easy peasy with this kit. Recommended cheers

Ordered this to avoid using the OEM opaque funnel. The function and modularity of this kit is great. The extra volume of the syringe and clarity helps to see issues with the bleed. Tossed our Shimano kit in the trash! Using this in a busy shop environment.

I got tired of the shop bills for brake work, I do most everything else, so I figured I'd give it a try. The epic kit was easy and worked well. The first time.

Bought this product to use on 2 different bikes. Arrived as stated .instructions were very clear with writing and pictures.

I’d never bled brakes before but had read the instructions on Epic’s website. I managed to do a full bleed on the front and rear brakes in around 15 minutes, without any fuss. The quality of the kit is excellent and has everything you need to do the job at a very good price. Don’t bother spending money on a shimano cup for the reservoir, the syringe supplied with this kit is perfectly adequate for the job.

This kit had all the tools and bits needed to swap over the levers and shorten the hoses on a pair of deore brakes. Instructions were very clear. Brakes feel great ??. I always use epic bleed solutions, it's a no brainer.

Ordered this having never bled my shimano M395 brakes before, or in fact ANY brakes. Although I am fairly confident following instructions, I was a little apprehensive with the bleeding process. I managed to complete both front and rear brakes in ten minutes and it’s made a massive difference to the spongy feel I had beforehand. A thoroughly recommended product and supplier. Fantastic product wish I had got this months ago rather than wasting so much time and money on other products. The instructions are really clear to use and work for a pre 2012 Shimano brake system. Took me a while to do my rear brakes but once I got the hang of it the front brake was a lot easier. Everything you need is in the pack other than a brake block which is essential to stop the oil contaminating your pads.

On time, in full. Excellent kit, good instruction, desired result. My brakes went from hero to zero during a few weeks in the garage before winter set in, so quick I thought it must be mechanical or pad wear. Given the relatively low price I ordered the kit to give it a try. Wow, what a difference, good as new if not better. If you can wire a plug then you can easily bleed brakes with the step by step instructions included. Bit more oil would be the icing on the cake, but when you feel the difference and confidence grows you'll be doing it regular, so invest in a gallon of the stuff.

Never bled a set of Hydraulic mountain bike brakes before. Found it easy and bled the system while changing the fluid in both front and back brakes.

This was my first attempt at bleeding my brakes and I'm happy to say it went really well. the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only improvement I would make is to supply more mineral oil with the kit.

With no prior experience, I was able to bleed my M8000 brakes with no major issues. One small thing - when connecting the tubing to the caliper's nipple, I could not slide the included black fixing clamp over the nipple, to secure the tubing. No matter how hard I tried, the clamp would not go over the nipple, as it does in the instructions and video. I still managed to complete the process, but I guess the tubing was not as securely attached to the caliper as it could or should. One star off for this problem. Otherwise, this is a quality kit and I'm quite happy with it.

Kit arrived quickly. Everything needed to bleed a Shimano brake set was there, and very easy to use. Comes with instruction which are easy to follow or if you want a more in depth walk through, a quick Google will help, but its easy enough without using that option. Maybe a few spare O rings for the bottom of the syringes would be great, but thats just my personal view.

Clear concise instructions and worked perfectly, took less than 5 minutes, for cost and ease of use can't be faulted.

Black plastic thingy to hold the tube on the bleed nipple is a bit tricky to get on but worked well. In fact i experienced limited leakage with it not-on properly, the implication: perhaps it could be slackened off a little i.e. increase the I.D. a tad.

I would emphasize the difference between the bucket-and-plunger stock approach and the two-syringe method you guys sell. What makes yours better?

Not directly on the bleed kit, but generally: I had xtr trail 2016 with black pistons. Effing pump-up effect was massive. Bled and bled to little avail. Sent them back got them changed out to the new models with white pistons. Front now fine, but rear still pumping up. The rear hose is frame-integrated so needed a good bleed after installation. Perhaps persistent pump-up is due to ineffective bleed? The point: I find it difficult to bleed shimano brakes (a lot more than Hope) and I am not actually sure my bleed of the rear brake worked.

Picked this up as a cheaper alternative to Shimano's own kit bleeding my 105 hydraulic system. The hardware lacked in keeping mineral oil off unwanted places and the instructions were too complicated and long. In retrospect I would have gone for Shimano.

Kit arrived very quickly, so was able to get on and bleed my brakes before the weekend ride. The instructions are very easy to follow and had both brakes bled within 15 mins of opening the package. This kit just makes the whole process simple and without any mess. Would recommend.

Don't know why I spent so much in Halfords. Just the kit is only 60% the cost and I have now done 3 bikes. It's so easy and so pleasing to see the bubbles come out. Great design.

The kit worked as advertised. I tried with both the official shimano upper funnel and the included upper syringe. The syringe gave a more accurate read of how much fluid was in it, but it was nice to be able to plug the funnel before unscrewing it. If I didn't have the funnel already, I wouldn't know I was missing anything.

Very nice kit

This kit is easier to use than the last one with the bit to hold the tube over the bleed nipple being a very good idea. But the syringe supplied drew in air to the oil if you weren't careful meaning one had to wait for all the bubbles to rise. However this kit is significantly cheaper than the branded Shimano one. The amount of oil supplied is not enough for a complete bleed of two brakes if complete replacement of oil is required.

I just wanted to check my new brakes were air free, and this kit cleared out the air that was in them, very straightforward to use, and I would recommend it to anyone.

My base level Shimano brakes had gone from bad to dangerously ineffective, and I'd read a lot of bad reviews on Shimano's own brand bleed kit and how difficult it was to use. I bought the this Epic bleed solutions kit after seeing a lot of positive feedback on it, and after watching a youtube video and reading the instructions that came with it I had both brakes bled and working properly in less than 20 mins!

This is a good kit that comes with instructions making it easy for novices like me. Unfortunately my bike is old and the brake fluid inside almost black, this puts the fact I have never bled hydraulic brakes before meant I ran out and had to buy more mineral oil. An option to buy bleed kits with larger oil bottles (100 mils) might be good for novices like me

Does the job. Directions are easy to follow. Would be great if the kit came with more mineral oil since flushing out the old entirely may be necessary and cycling twice through is recommended in your instructions.

I have a comparable mechanical ability to a pigeon. I successfully managed to bleed my brakes and the next ride I was able to stop before I hit the trees. Good stuff!

This was my second bleed kit from epicbleedsolutions.com and it was just as great as the first. So simple to use with excellent instructions anyone should be able to follow ease. It's beyond me why anyone would use anything else.

Far and away the easiest system for bleeding hydraulic bike brakes. I've used two sets now, one for Shimano and another for Hayes. I'm only giving four stars as I find the instructions overly complicated - I just attach both syringes open the bleed nipple and blow lots of clean fluid through from bottom to top taking the air and dirt with it. The instructions seem to achieve the same thing in over ten steps!

A bit nervous messing with brake bleeds but the product was well packaged with good clear instructions and worked well. Great price and delivery! Will buy again soon.

Using the bleed kit is as easy as the instructions suggests. I have used it on 3 different bikes and all with success. Fortunately a full bleed as not been necessary.

Great little kit. I have only used this for the quick "bubble bleed" so far, but plan on a full bleed this winter during the off-season. Easy to use, quality bits. The issue I had when looking for a kit online was the lack of a complete Shimano kit..they sell a funnel, other bits, but I just wanted a one-stop shop for the whole deal. I do think that the funnel provides an easy clean up vs. the syringe for the lever reservoir b/c of the stopper..with the syringe, you have to use the other syringe to suck out the remaining fluid..not sure but this kit add the funnel seems to be one way to improve it.

Received it quickly even though I was ordering from abroad. It was my first experience with hydraulic brakes and the instructions were easy to follow (basically the instructions from the shimano manual but laid out better). Process went fine and so much cheaper than the shimano own alternatives! Also got some mini spanners for loosening the ports and quick connectors which were good quality and worked great.

Having totally destroyed my rear brake lever and reservoir whilst decending Scarfell. the new replacement unit was easily commissioned by the above kit. Your instructions were easy to follow too. Many thanks.

Instructions are very clear. Equipment supplied is top notch quality. I was able to bleed both front and rear twice such was the amount of fluid supplied. The only thing i will say is to make sure the tube connected to the caliper is primed with fluid before commencing the bleed

Well what can I say, it was simpler than standard Shimano. So it was great and rather quick. Would recommend :)

My Bizango had started to feel a bit weak in the stopping department. I'd cleaned my pads but still the power had decreased. I looked into trying to bleed the brakes and possible put new fluid in. I got the right kit and had got to work in my garage. I had some old mineral from Halfords which was fine to use so I didn't need to break into the fluid provided (I'll probably do a complete fluid change at some point so I'm now covered for that). The syringe is easy to attach to the lever reservoir, easy to fill and then I just burped the system. I found tipping the bike from left to right, 60°ish each side, helped to get the air out of the system. My brakes are now back to factory power. If you have even the most basic of spannering skills, you'll be able to sort your brakes out.

Excellent kit didn't have any problems and it was my first time doing DIY on my brakes.

The kit included everything what is needed. The key to loose the bleed nibble is needed, I modified one from some old furniture key. The tube holder did not snap over the bleed port, what I was expecting. Maybe it was not the purpose, instead the tube holder is just for for holding the tube. The guide had some words and sentences maybe bit difficult to understand for person not using English as mother language. But with the guide and youtube videos I was able to do it. Maybe bit more oil could be nice, because my rear brake oil was so worn I had to flush the system twice and the there was not enough oil left for front. However great kit to do the oil change.

I purchased the Epic bleed Kit to attempt my first bleed of my bicycles brakes. I did the Mini Bleed and it was easy and definitely improved my brakes. I preferred the online instructions to the ones provided with the Kit. Havnt tried a full bleed as yet but as an amateur mechanic I am pleased with it so far.

If you've got Shimano brakes, this kit is a must. It makes the process so fast and so simple. This kit will turn a novice into a professional. Do your hip pocket and your rig a favor and get this kit.

Really easy to use and much cheaper than other brands

At 1st i was a bit hesitant to bleed my own brakes, but after coming across this kit, I found it really easy. Gets the job done, 1st time every time. Never had one problem with spongy brake, just a solid lever after bleeding every time.

Great kit. I purchased this to bleed my XT brakes. The instructions were easy to follow and the bleed went well. I would use again and would purchase another bleed kit for my avid brakes.

Kit is really easy to use. The instructions are detailed, but somewhat confusing if you dont read them from start to end before you start. Good value for your money.

Bleeding a Deore caliper and M615 lever. Took about 2-3 repeats of the process to nail it. Kit works great. Buy some extra oil though. First time perfect bleed with a Zee lever and Deore caliper.

Great system, allows for a quick, easy, mess-free bleed. Dual syringes also let you cycle the fluid in the system to remove any bubbles that might normally get trapped in the end of the lever. 9.5/10, only improvement woul dbe the addition of metal fittings. Great product.

A couple of read throughs of the instructions before I started and the whole process was a cinch and once you've done it once, the second time is even easier. No mess or spilt fluid, just a quick wipe of the lever body and it was all done. Would definitely buy again for the brakes on my new build.

I mainly bought this kit for the syringes, which worked well. The kit came with everything listed in the contents and everything worked as expected. When used with my own spanner, hex key and piston spacer block this kit had everything else I needed.

Ordered the bleed kit for Shimano brakes, but when I recieved the confirmation email I realized the auto shipping address was wrong, they team here was super helpful and got everything straight before shipping. No shops in my area had time for a bleed so I had no choice but to do it myself. I'd never done it before so I was a bit nervous but I took it slow, carefully followed the provided instructions and, once I got the hang of it, it was no big deal. This kit worked great and had exactly what I needed.

Bought this along with a pair of Shimano brakes since I had to shorten the hoses and the bleeding process could have been required after that. I ended up having to do a "5 minute mini bleed" on the rear brake after accidentally spilling some brake fluid when cutting the hose. The brake seemed to work OK after that. Haven't done the full bleed process yet, but I'm sure there won't be any problems because this website has a well written and illustrated guide, and there is also a copy of it included in the bleed kit itself.

Had no issues once I actually read the instructions :-) although my bleed port was controlled slightly differently from those in the instructions being opened with an allen key and not a spanner (that took a bit of figuring out). Apart from that the process was quick and straightforward with everything working straight out of the packet. Turns out I needed the bleed as the old fluid came out black, yeuch!

As a novice bike mechanic following the instructions that came with the 'epic' bleed kit was simple and straightforward. I had my brakes back working like thet where fresh from the factory in no time.

Excellent idiot proof kit and instructions, like having new brakes. Works very well though a temporary solution will have to do a full bleed soon.

Shimano SLX Brakes were well overdue some love. I consider myself to be reasonably competent when it comes to servicing my bike, but I'm no bike mechanic. When it came to doing the work I followed the instructions and found the process to be straight forward and quite user friendly. I'd recommend watching videos (I found the ones from GMBN very good) and to read the instructions a few times carefully first, and then give it a go. I'm now confident I'll be bleeding my own brakes from now on. Cheers

Well priced, complete bleed kit. I.e. everything you need to perform the brake bleed. Simple enough to do when done alongside YouTube videos. The instructions provided in writing were not the easiest to follow. Only enough mineral oil to do 2 bleeds, some if one brake needs a couple of bleeds (as one of mine did) you haven't got anything left for the other. Could have done with a cup/plug rather than another syringe for collecting/removing the old oil. 4/5 stars, I would buy again. My niggles are minor, and probably because it was my first time ever doing a bleed I didn't know any better in advance. I would buy from Epic again though! Make sure you get a brake block! I forgot!

I used this kit to bleed both of my Shimano M395 brakes, and it was a nice, straightforward job from start to finish, thanks to the very clear instructions. The kit was delivered quickly, and contained everything that I needed ( except for a hex wrench, which I already had anyway). The included bottle of oil was easily enough to do both brakes, and they are now working like new again.

I needed to bleed s700 brakes on my Bullitt cargo bike (really long runs of brake lines), and bought this kit. It works as advertised, although the instructions could be a bit clearer. It is quite involved, but I managed in the end.

Instructions were excellent for a complete bike novice to understand, having never worked on bikes etc. The quality was very good for the price and the included tools to help with the bleeding!

Description says "Compatible with all Shimano brakes, including road discs". This is not true, BR-RS785 calipers have a recesseed bleed nipple that make the black tube securing tool included in this kit useless. i found that without the tube being secured to the caliper bleed nipple ie just by pushing the tube over the nipple made pushing fluid though the caliper impossible. I contacted Epic Bleed about this months ago and they said they would add a new tool to the kit for the BR-RS785 calipers but i keep looking out for this and it hasn't happened and epic bleed still claim "Compatible with all Shimano brakes, including road discs" which it isn't

Gives you everything you need to have a go at bleeding the breaks - there is enough solution to bleed front and back once (or one set twice). Instructions are decent - I looked on line for a bit more detail but otherwise all good!

Good alternative to the official product and a lot cheaper! Only minor criticism is the syringe which acts as the pot is a bit more fiddly. However this kit is less than half the price.

Easy to use and simple kit. The instruction manual is, however, a bit wordy. It doesn't help me as I am slightly dyslexic, and took me almost two hours to work out what I needed to do. It would be nice to provide an instruction video or some sort.

Love it makes it really easy

Simple piece of kit, but one major flaw, the catchment syringe cannot be plugged once full after a successful bleed, which makes an oily mess once you dettach the syringe. The original shimano kit comes with a valve to stop this happening. Kudos for E.B.S. for offering a lower price for what effectively are bits of plastic and rubber worth less than a pound or dollar.

The instructions were clear and all the parts were easy to use. However, my bleed did not work as the instructions suggested - on both the first and second bleeds at step 12 "The normal condition is for the brake lever to be stiff at this point. " my lever remained obstinately squishy - all the way to the lever. Following the bleed they work, but not as well as they first did. The instructions are missing what to do with the bite point / free stroke adjusters (even if it is just stating that they are irrelevant).

Simple to use and a bargain compared with Shimano or other kits. Having previously had cable discs hydraulic disc were a bit of a mystery, not helped by dire warnings about not pressing the leavers with the wheel out otherwise you are doomed! Anyway all went smoothly an dit is a godsend when you pack your bike away for travelling as there is a risk that the brake will need bleeding and with this little kit its a piece of cake. Well done! Bleed went well with no issues, clear instructions and the kit worked well. I have used the syringes a few times now and the quality of the threads on the connectors to the actual brake caliper aren't great and they aren't sealing as well after a few uses. Given the price this isn't a massive issue.

I really do think the instructions should be reviewed. I found them singularly unhelpful. The kit, as such, fine but I am not sure that I have done the job properly. The re-introduction of 'contaminated' oil cannot be good. I'd expected the new oil in at top, with a drawdown of clean oil, flushing system through to the bottom.

Having never bled a set of mountain bike discs I did the usual and googled the hell out of it and ended up ordering from epic based on other reviews. Glad I did. Instructions were simple and easy to follow and the process was remarkably straight forward. Good quality bleed kit arrived quickly and I had them bled in a matter of minutes. Instantly restored the feel of my brakes! Over time I hadn't noticed the gradual degradation of performance and it was only after the bleed I realised how much performance I had lost. Honestly I've put off bleeding my brakes for ages because I was scared of the process. I'm not sure why but while i was happy to shorten brake hoses, change headset cups, and change bottom brackets somehow i had a block with this job. When my brake performance reached the level of literally no stopping whatsoever I ordered this kit and nervously approached the job. I shouldn't have worried. The kit and instructions made the whole procedure really easy and within half an hour i had replaced the grey oil in the system with nice new pink oil for both brakes and was back to being able to stop the bike whenever i wanted. I would entirely recommend the kit and only wish I'd bought it sooner.

Exellent bit of kit, easy to use and not very expensive. It only takes a few mins to bleed both brakes with this kit.

The first time it might look a bit complex, but once you get used to it you can quickly bleed your brakes in about 20 min. The trickiest part is to release all the remaining bubbles at the end of the process.

A good comprehensive and simple bleed kit for the home fettler. After 2 yrs of use the Shimano mineral oil in my systems was grey and sludgy so it has become a periodic service item. Great for shortening hoses and the inevitable visits from mates with 'i was just riding along' brake issues. Recommended.

I am new to disc brakes and never thought I would be doing an oil change on a bike! My back brake had become soft and the brake leaver loose.....did some googling and found I needed to bleed the oil. This kit had everything I needed and came with clear instructions. A few hours later with oil all over the place my brake was fixed. I am sure next time it will be simpler and less messy!

As a complete novice I bought the kit after researching it on the internet. With even my limited ability I managed to do it and was impressed by the results. While it's not difficult to have it done by a cycle shop it removes the pain of having to schedule an appointment and allows you to make your own adjustments.

I used the 5 Min bleed instruction video and og was the most bleed i have ever done. Even thinking About changing my sram guide for Shimano xt after this bleed experience.

Simple to use, even for someone like me who's never bled bicycle brakes before. Didn't take long, and very good results. (Just be aware that some callipers will differ slightly from the instructions, and will need an allen key, not a 7mm ring spanner.)

I always dreaded the point when the brake lever became spongy and more often than not was pulling right back to the bar. Previously I would usually end up with fluid all over the place (including the brake pads) and resort to having to take the bike to lbs to have them do it, usually with a wait. This kit (Shimano in my case) takes all the hassle out of it. There is a video and instructions on the site to go with the kit but to be honest I only follow the first 6 or so steps: syringe on the caliper, other one attached to the reservoir and then push fluid up the system. Job done in 5 minutes and no mess. Great customer service too - I recently had a clear out of the garage and accidentally threw away the tube that connects to the caliper. Emailed them to see if I could obtain just the tube thinking I would have to buy the whole kit and they put one in the post same day free of charge. If I ever change brakes I would without doubt buy another of these.

Set up a pair of Shimano road disk brakes from scratch. The Bleedkit from Epic made adding the brake fluid an absolute doddle. 15 mins start to finish for both brakes. Well done Epic!

Always thought bleeding brakes was a bike shop visit. I'm reasonably good at servicing my bikes but never thought I could manage this.

The price of the kit made me take the plunge, it was so easy and worked perfectly. Just make sure you have a clear working area and don't drop or lose any of the parts you remove.

The product worked very will. I was able to bleed my spongy brake with no problems though I then discovered the problem was a leak in the line. After repairing this, I again bled the brake. The instructions didn't include my model but this was not too difficult to work out.

Purchased this kit as I was finding my Deore brakes felt soft , it arrived within days, well packaged and all intact, really easy to use and brakes are now working like new. Definitely recommend it.

After suffering from a poor performing rear brake for some time i decided to try and bleed the brake after being told it may be needing done.

I proceeded to bleed the brake by topping up the master cylinder and pumping the lever to attempt expelling air. Not much of an improvement to be honest and a bit messy also.

I purchased a Shimano Bleed Kit and followed the instructions which was very easy and did not take much time at all, and to top it all there is no mess of fluid. After the bleed was completed i tried the brake which felt superb but was not as effective as i had hoped, this was down to me not removing the pads in the first attempt of bleeding which caused fluid to contaminate the pads. New pads in and the brake is performing spot on.

The kit is a must for carrying out any fluid bleeding or changing, quick easy and clean.

-Overall works fine, instructions are reasonably easy to follow. However..

-oil provided is way too little to perform a full bleed of both brakes. (well maybe it will be barely enough if you're very experienced with bleeding and/or the condition of your brakes are not that bad to begin with). I had to buy another bottle of oil separately.

-Instructions are provided for a funnel type container at the level end, but a syringe is provided in the kit. It's not clear if I should use this syringe to draw the air out of the oil or just leave it untouched and push the oil with the other syringe.

- It says on the syringe one use only. but I was under the impression that this kit is reusable. In any case I'm not buying a new kit every time I bleed and I just clean the kit and reuse it.

It worked out great bfor me, but needed a second hand of help as it wasa the rear break i needed to fix.

Was recommended this website from an employee at Halfords, best bike advice I have had from there. The kit contained all I needed and while I have never bled a hydraulic system before it was not at scary as process as expected.

The kit worked well, I didn't have chance to check the online videos and it turned out my brakes differed slightly to those on the paper instruction - bleed nipple was loosened by an allen key rather than a ring spanner. Also followed the instructions to remove the disc and pads and replace with some wood. Unfortunately the wood was too soft and compressed causing the breaks to over fill - would be useful it the bleed block was provided rather than a separate purchase. Re-did a second time (let to much air in when trying to drain some fluid), this time very quick to do but left the disc and pads in place but took care to not get any fluid on the pads - this work much better and didn't over fill.

Found it very easy to bleed my brakes on my Cannondale synapes with r685 hydraulic shifters.

This was the first time I have bled bike disc brakes. I followed the instructions and everything went flawlessly. I bought extra fluid just in case but didn't need it.

First suggestion. Take your time and read the instructions! I know how to bleed brakes, done it on cars and motorbikes. This, however is slightly different and I am glad I took my time, read the instructions and double-checked what I was doing.

The kit had all I needed and the instructions were not too complicated. I gave myself plenty of time so as to not put pressure on myself. The net result, the process worked well, I had no dramas, I used a bit too much mineral oil but no other issues and the brakes work brilliantly.

I bought this set (together with the hose-cutter) to shorten hoses of my new Shimano XT brakes and bleed afterwards - never did that before (my first MTB, I normally ride road bikes) so I was scared of this (normal cable brakes are simple to install and cut). But thanks to the instructions and the kit, it was a very easy task! Approx. 30 minutes and everything was finished, no spills anywhere. Thanks!

I bought this bleed kit partly for the price and partly for the good reviews and simple instructions. I had never dealt with brakes at this level of maintenance before, but i had to cut my hose and reconnect so i needed to get the kit. So after reading the instructions twice, to be sure of the method i set about bleeding my brake line, and about 20 mins later (taking my time), i now had my rear brake working as it should.

I am now a qualified brake bleeder ;-)

Very easy to use, works perfectly. The instructions are very eary to follow. I've performed a full bleed which completely restored my XTs performance as it had diminished over a year or so (even with new pads). THe five minute bleed is perfect to keep the braking power spot-on.

At this point there's 204 reviews and almost all of them are 5 stars, so adding my 2 cents is a splash in the ocean. But I'm going to anyway because this is such a useful and well-thought-out kit. For my Ultegra disc it was just a case of attaching the syringe and hose to the bleed port in the calliper, screwing the other syringe into the top of the reservoir, pouring in some fluid and pumping out the old using the brake lever. Takes just a few minutes per calliper and creates hardly any mess. Excellent stuff.

So I dusted off my old 2003 Kona Roast last weekend and discovered the Hayes HFX-9s where totally shot with sitting for years. I purchased a set of Shimano M615 front and rear to replace the old brakes.

Upon fitting I discovered I needed to bleed the brakes and shorten the lines. I stumbled across this site and ordered the bleed kit. I was a bit sceptical at how easy it was going to be to bleed the brakes as 12 years ago you couldn't find these kind of kits and tips and tricks for bleeding brakes which made things a lot more difficult. Fast forward to today... Received my bleed kit in the post and it was a total breeze to shorten the lines and bleed the brakes! If there is anyone reading this who has been away from mountain biking for a long while like me and dreading the thought of bleeding brakes this is the place to come for the correct tools and guides.

because unlike my previous Avid bleed kit there was no bleed block. also not all currently sold Shimano's have the bleed control as pictured, took me a while to figure out on my Deore M447. otherwise clear and comprehensive

bought the kit for my road bike. the brakes were really spongy and pulled right in to the bars. Did a 5 minute mini bleed with the kit and it really helped a lot. The kit is great and easy to use, the instructions are easy to understand. Plus a really great price!

I've only just started riding around a year ago so the process of bleeding the brakes on a mountain bike was relatively new to me. using this kit i was able to bleed the system without any problems at all, the instructions supplied are very easy to follow and explanatory.

more oil would be a huge advantage but there is easily enough to bleed the system and get you going again. 5* all round. great buy.

Works at least as good as a Shimano-branded kit, but less expensive. Dispatched quickly from Epic, and delivery time to Sweden took about a week. If I ever change from Shimano brakes I know where I will get a bleed kit for my new ones.

Excellent quality product. Have used the mineral oil several times now and seems to be doing a great job. Brakes feel far more powerful afte the bleed. Easy to use and excellent instructions included.

After a LOT of research i found this bleed kit, which in my opinion is the best value and kit on the market. Being a complete newbie, i followed Alex's guide and bled my brakes, and i have perfect brakes again. DEFINITELY recommend it to ANYONE and EVERYONE!

I put off using kit for a while worrying I was going to make things worse. I then thought sod it what's the worse that could happen. I found the kit and instructions easy to use and follow and would recommend this kit to anyone with shimano brakes.

My brakes were better after the bleed but I don't think I pumped the lever enough so will do them again soon. I was surprised how dirty the fluid was as I haven't had them that long so I flushed through a few times which was the most fiddly bit having to release bottom bleed nipple multiple times. On the whole easier than I thought.

Easy to follow instructions. The product did what it was suppose to do.

I encountered two tricky areas Step 4 connecting the tube to the caliper without the tube filling with air then waiting for the air bubble to rise up into the syringe which it was reluctant to do and Step 10 removing the other syringe from the reservoir - make sure you quickly seal the syringe to stop the remaining liquid from dribbling out.

Top notch - made the job so easy

If you follow the instructions it works. If you're green and your name's kermit then you'll probably still screw it up but that's about the only way. Only possible improvement would be to laminate the instructions as they do get fluid spilt on them.

How did you know that I'd only used it this morning? An amazing coincidence that you should request a review just a few hours after my first experience. I've had the bleed kit 5 or 6 weeks but being slightly nervous of the process I had waited until I had a whole day at my disposal to hopefully rectify any potential disaster.

I need not have worried. I read every step 3 times - even after memorizing the procedure - just to make sure, and all went swimmingly. The piece of plastic that is supposed to hold the syringe tube onto the calliper bleed nipple I found useless for my new XT m785's. Better to support the weight of the syringe with an elastic band around the fork. A great piece of kit, reasonably priced and a very helpful website. As with everything, experience is a great teacher and I will be both faster and more confident next time. I'm wondering how often brakes should be bled. I suppose the answer is when they feel spongy. Anyway, thank you and full marks for your psychic ability.

This kit saves alot of money than buying the genuine kit or taking it to a bike shop. The instructions provided are simple to follow and made the process very easy. Great kit and great value for money

Kit is as looks, fast delivery and good quality for price. now just need to work out how to do it without spilling oil everywhere!

I found the process to be a pain in the arse which, ultimately, didn't work. I fully expect that it was my fault, as the kit seems easy enough to use.

I had never bled my brakes before but found this kit and the Epic bled guides to be very easy to use and follow. I have now bled 2 sets of brakes and they are working as good as new. I also found the guide on shortening hoses very useful so many thanks for the great service and advice from Alex!

Bought this when I had a dumb moment and cut the new hose on my saint's too short...new hose, a full fill and bleed later and I'm off to the lakes, great stuff. Good quality and all you need to start from scratch or just flush out the old rubbish. Great service from epic and simple payment/delivery.

I fitted brand new SLX using the Epic how to shorten hoses guide. Then did the Shimano 5 min mini bleed. These guides are good and work to an extent but afterwards was still not convinced so bleed both brakes - loads of bubbles came out. Mini bleed works for lever end but you just do not know how well brakes were bleed in the factory and how much air is at caliper end.

You have spent good cash on good brakes, more money on a bleed kit - my advise is give your new brakes a proper bleed to begin with - you will not regret it.

The full bleed is very easy as per instructions, the only tricky bit if you have removed caliper from mount (back brake to get caliper lower than lever if not using a stand) is holding caliper and tube whilst applying pressure on syringe to keep air out of tube when connecting to bleed nipple. Best to get a helping pair of hands or fir BEFORE removing from mount!

like the title says i felt this was a good bit of kit. it has easy to follow instructions, although i didnt use the top syringe and used the shimano reservior which i thought made it easier, would recommend this product

My first online order non-delivery ever was perfectly solved by EPIC. Another bleed set was shipped and arrived a couple of days later. The clear work instruction helped me through my first bleed with succes!

I used the website guidance for shortening the hydraulic hose on new shimano brakes. It worked fine on the front brake which didn't need any further bleeding. But I bought the Epic bleed kit in advance just in case there was a problem.... Good job I did, because the rear brake shortened OK but the lever feel was too soft (squidgy). I used the bleed kit to remove the air from the reservoir I had introduced by shortening the hose. The kit worked really well and the directions were very helpful. A couple of tips:

- move the reservoir from one side to the other (+ or - 45 degrees) lots of times. Wait for an air bubble to rise each time
- careful not to tighten the syringe down too hard onto the reservoir. You then may get a good seal but removing the syringe may be a struggle because the adaptor unscrews from the syringe luer lock

Bleed kits. Often overlooked....until your lever comes back to the bar and your brakes don't work. For what is a simple kit, OEM manufacturers charge frankly ridiculous prices for their equipment. Epic Bleed Solutions make equipment that is at least on a par with OEM kits, and in some cases better, all at more affordable prices.

This is my second kit after switching from SRAM to Shimano. If I change in the future, I have no doubt I'll be back for another.

I purchased the Shimano bleed kit to tweak my Shimano brakes. I have a set of XT's and a set of Deore's on two of my bikes. The kits is well stocked with all of the pieces needed to get the job done. The instructions are well written and paced so you don't skip ahead by mistake. I would definitely recommend getting a setup for your brakes.

The kit contains everything you need, is very simple and clear, fits perfectly and the site gives options of a full bleed or a quick bleed approach. To be honest, the full bleed becomes so straightforward that I tend to do it all the time.

Decided to buy this kit looked better than the Shimano bleed tool and the old Dr Coopers kit I was used. It's really good, the syringe that screws into the brake bleed hole is brilliant as it's so long. Also the holder on the bleed nipple is really good, be nice if this some how clipped in but I've no complaints.

Do the bleed as per instructions then before removing the syringe, angle the bike / lever at every angle possible and every last bit of air will come out. Really like this kit, a better bleed and less mess, result !

I ordered this and it arrived withing four days to my house in France. Read the clear instructions and took some time to clean my very grubby mountain bike.

I don't have a bike workshop stand so put the front wheel up on a kitchen chair and while my wife held that steady followed the instructions step by step. And voila simple and straightforward. We were doing the rear brake and I had also replaced the rear brake pads. The result is a rear wheel that I can lock up with no problem. Easy!

For brakes with bite use one of these kits, you cannot go wrong.

Brought this kit to try and bleed my new deore brakes, the kit was easy to use and the instructions were easy enough to follow with pictorial step by step guide. There was enough oil to bleed front and back brake, but would recommend that you get more. This is only due to the amount of rubbish/contamination that was flushed out of what i presumed to be clean oil in my pipes.

Great kit with everything you need (I bought the 7mm spanner too), easy instructions even for a tool like me. Nice solid brakes again now.

As it says in the title, it's a great bit of kit, simple and easy to use, hardest part is catching the left over collection, ive had to do my back brake twice, mainly because i thought (like every man does) "oh yeah, nice and simple i will push fluid up the system till no bubbles left and lock it off then suck out the left over fluid till just a little left in the catch bit" it worked went for a ride went spongy i was annoyed so i broke the instructions out and followed them and not had an issue since. Why cant i just read instructions like i get told to?

Very easy to use. However I wish the next version will have tube clamps like the Avid's to ensure the plunger won't creep back and drawing little air bubble when you are attaching the hose to the caliper bleed nipple (otherwise you need to put a constant little pressure on the plunger when attaching - a tricky and sometime sloppy maneuver as excess oil will drip).

The kit was deliveried in quick time and came with all the bits needed to bleed both calipers. They are now good as factory setup. Only thing i can have a gripe at is to supply a seal cap with the reservoir filler to prevent the old fluid from leaking out when you disconnect the screw, you do get a second syringe puller but this is difficult to push on as you are fighting both air and old oil. Overall i cant fault the kit.

Been struggling to bleed the brakes effectively for a couple of years and almost impossible on your own.

With this kit and a litre bottle of shimano oil was able to fully replace the brake oil and with no air in the system.

The brakes are back to their best !

I have used this to bleed second gen Saint M810s. The contents allowed me to experiment with different bleed techniques until I got the best bleed. The instructions sent me down a rather more complex method than I the technique I settled on; requiring an additional pot to capture excess fluid, and some tape to hold the pot beneath the reservoir. To be honest, this is a real faff. So, I used one syringe to feed oil into the res and used the supplied second rubber tube to feed excess oil from the caliper back into the oil jar. This left no mesd at all, led to a better bleed and needed fewer 'extras'. The obvious downside to this technique is that old oil is mixed with new, but mine was running clean enough which allowed me to repeat the procedure a number of times to sort out a pair of pretty bad brakes.

so, the package is perfect, but you may get on better with a different technique.

Yesterday, I got the kit in the mail and today I did my first bleed. Thanks to the great instructions it went really well. With the front brake I carefully read the instructions while doing it. Then I kney how to do it properly and so the rear brake bleeding was a piece of cake.

The Shimano bleed kit from Epic was, well, Epic. I had rear brake issues and knew it felt like air in the system. The instructions were easy to follow and the whole process took about 20mins. Worked a treat. Cheers.

Lost back brake presure in two of my bikes and so decided to take the plunge and bleed them myself. I got the kit and read the instructions. Easy. So easy. Follow the simple to understand instructions and i have brakes again. Great.

Bought the kit to bleed a set of M675 SLX brakes after I rushed the hose shortening and made a hash of it. Bleeding was a really simple process - excellent instructions and perfect results.

NB I only bought this version as I already had the Shimano bleed funnel. If you don't have one, you'll need the newer bleed kit with the 2 syringes.

I have both kits now... Avid and Shimano, the kits contain everything you need to fill/bleed the brakes. I used the Shimano kit to fill a brand new pair of Deore brakes... absolute doddle... worked first time on both brakes... just be sure to give the lever a good firm squeeze when getting the last bubble out of the lever.

I used to dread bleeding brakes, the Avids are still a bit of a pain but these kits make it so much easier.

Kit is great quality plastics, fits perfectly, and can get the feel and bite on the lever spot on.

I recently changed my brakes to Shimano and purchased said kit. After giving the instructions a read a couple of times I set about shortening and bleeding the brakes. Both tutorials are really good and you should have no problems at all if you follow them correctly. It was the first time I've done the job myself. With this kit it's so simple I will never have to pay anyone to do it!

Really easy to use especially with the Online guides. Successfully cut and bleed a pair of Shimano Deore breaks. First time bleeding but with the excellent equipment found it very satisfying and pleasing. Would defiantly recommend.

Instructions were good but missed a few tricks that I found in the Q&A's like tapping the calliper and hose and winding the free stroke out to get more to get a better bleed.

Contains everything you need to bleed your brakes and step by step instructions so even a complete novice can do it.

The only issue I had was that the tube kept popping off the bleed nipple but that might be due to the newness of the tube and once it becomes more pliable will remove this problem.

After trying with the "all you need to bleed your brakes" bottle and hose available elsewhere (there might have been some naughty words said), I got my hands on the proper kit from Epic bleed and despair turned to joy in 5 mins. Outstanding.

Don't mess about with the yellow cup for your shimano brakes, buy one of these and do it right!!

The instructions where good bud it would be excellent if ther could be some sort of lock so that the tube don't pop off the bleedvalve when applying pressure. Kindly Regards invertedname.

If your looking to bleed a new (or old) set of brakes Epic Bleed Solutions really are great. & their Shimano bleed kit is, put simply - epic!

I had recently bought a cracking deal for my family/hack bike with a pair of SLX 160's front & rear. Knocked the lever over when shortening the last one & that was that! Quick online search & after surfing for a good bit I dropped onto Epic Bleed Solutions. 5 minutes after that I registered & bought the only comprehensive kit on the market.

Guide online is awesome & once my kit arrived - less than 48hours after placing my order - it took me about 5 minutes to bleed the brake through!

It really does make life easier with this kit! No messing about with the old-style cup spilling fluid etc.

Only tools you'll really need are the kit, usual Allen key suspects & a 7mm spanner.

Block for the caliper and before you know it your brake is sweet.

I've bled many Hope brakes and consider them probably the easiest on the market to bleed. This bleed kit for Shimano brakes makes it equally as simple!

Avids - even with their kit are just a pain in the hoop and there's no comparison to this kit.

OK, you may find you need to repeat one or two of the steps to expel all the air from the system, but honestly this is a "why pay for someone else to do this" process.

Both great! the only small complain (a very small one) is that the hose from the HOPE bleed kit didnt fit well on the MONO MINI caliper... needed some heat to resize to the fit.

I bought some XT brakes to replace the Avids I had on my bike. I followed the instructions on this site on how to cut the hoses to size without needing a bleed. But I obviously did something wrong (as I am prone to do at times), and was very glad I had the foresight to order this bleed kit at the same time as the hose cutters and 7mm spanner.

The kit performed flawlessly, I had no problem getting a good bleed (something which was a bit of a unicorn on the Avids). Brakes have not lost any performance since the bleed and if I'm not careful, threaten to put me over the bars.

Highly recommended.

Could have done with a clip to slide down the over the tube once on the bleed nipple (as provided with some other bleed kits) to stop it falling off mid-bleed.

This was my first attempt at doing anything to my hydraulic brakes myself, and besides this bleed kit I didn't have the ideal tools to work with. However everything went surprisingly well, the instructions were good and the set provided good equipment for the job. First brake took a while, but the second one was a whole lot quicker already!

Had never performed a brake bleed before, but with this kit I bled both front and rear barkes in less than half an hour. Instructions are super clear, and the initial bleed from the caliper makes a lot more sense to me than the Shimano funnel method from the lever only.

The bleed kit worked very well. I was impressed that the bleed tube showed no tendency to slip off the nipple, even when it was oily. Overall I was very pleased with it, and bleeding was easy to accomplish.

However - a couple of niggles. It wasn't clear to me how much fluid I would need to bleed two brakes, and if the kit allowed for that. Also, I had to bleed both brakes twice, although I feel I followed the instructions to the letter. So - it was a good job that I bought extra fluid - that supplied with the kit is good for two bleeding operations, but no more.

Never been near hydraulics before but followed the guide and was a bit amazed at how easy it was. Thought the front might have been beginners luck but the back went just as smoothly.

In a nutshell, highly recommended.

This was the first time I have attempted bleeding, having replaced brakes and shortening the tubing. The kit was so easy to use, instructions were clear and well illustrated, and I managed the job without undue difficulty, for a novice! Great stuff.

I've had Avid brakes for years and the red plastic hose clips help make bleeding a little easier and reduce mess. Having one with the shimano kit would make it a 5 star product.

This kit made brake bleeding much easier than using the standard shimano bleed kit that cost more. Only problem I had with this kit was one of the hoses that goes on the bleed valve doesn't quite seal around the valve very well, so it leaks out a bit. Luckily I had some other hose that worked better.

As someone who has used various Shimano disc brakes since 2001, when the original XT disc brakes were introduced. I have always used Shimano's own bleed kits in all there forms. Not anymore, Epic's bleed kit is so easy to use, simple to follow instructions and great value!

Delivery was quick. Having completed a course recently in bleeding disc brakes I found the instructions a bit complex/contradictory but adapted them to my needs.

Having said this the kit was easy to use and has produced excellent results. I would definitely order from here again.

Everything you need apart from a few things like allen keys that any basic multi tool should have anyway. The instructions were clear and well written. Service from Epic was prompt.

The good about the kit is that it resolves the issue of securing a tube to the top resevoir by using a Luer-lock plastic adapter.

The bad about the kit is that it does not resolve the issue of securely attaching a tube to the caliper. Here, the oil tube is simply pressed over the Shimano screw. As a result, the tube tends to detach (particularly when the syringe piston is being pushed down), which typically provokes a horrible mess of mineral oil sprinkled all over. Epic Solutions obviously realizes that, and advises to recruit a helper who keeps the tube attached to the caliper. But that is not incredibly useful if no such helper is at hand.

It is really a pity that Shimano does not provide a more service-friendly solution to the caliper-side refill, but Epic Bleed does not attempt to correct that either. I could imagine that the Shimano bleed screw on the caliper could be e.g. replaced with a design that allows for screwing a threaded Luer-lock type adapter, and that might solve the issue. Unfortunately, we will have to wait for that to happen.

With the Epic bleed kit it was so easy to shorten the hoses on my new brakes and bleed them just to be sure that there was no air. Definitely the way to bleed Shimano brakes quickly and simply.

Used the bleed kit for 2012-on this morning, did it in 2 hours going carefully. Definitely beats taking your bike to a shop or the official stuff, both of which are more expensive too.

One trick I found is to pre-fill the lever syringe with around 10ml of fluid, then draw back through the caliper syringe before your start going the other way. Helps to pull any caliper air bubbles or ones that have formed at the connection out and into your big syringe reservoir before you start pushing fluid up and burying them deeper.

Having bled a couple of car brakes, I did not have any knowledge in mountain-bike brakes bleeding before yesterday. This kit, along with the perfect instructions, enabled me to do it really quickly and easily!

The only thing I regret now is not having bought an extra bottle of oil, because I used half of the one included in the kit and I'll have to pay shipping costs to France again to buy a new bottle.

I followed the instructions which were for the most part clearly written, except for one slightly ambiguous part and bled my brakes.

Unfortunately, while I was concentrating on not letting the tubing come off the bleed nipple (which it really wanted to do), the brake fluid somehow suddenly spurted from where the tubing connects to the syringe, getting all over the place, but luckily not on any braking surfaces. The tubing was still completely connected, but the seal mustn't have been perfect. The fluid must have completed the seal, because the rest of the bleeding went off without incident. My brakes are bled anyway, and it seems to have done the job.

In summary, a useful kit, but make sure you have help, or else use a lot of sticky tape to temporarily secure things, as using this kit to bleed your brakes is definitely a two person job.

Bled some new brakes after trimming the hoses and was surprised at how easy and mess free this kit was, the lever syringe seems a better way of holding fluid than the Shimano Cup.

This is the second kit I have bought recently from EBS (bought a Magura kit also) and the second time I have been thoroughly impressed.

It is a very simple but equally effective alternative to OEM kit, comes with all you need to effectively bleed your brakes, including straight to the point instructions which in itself is a refreshing change to the encyclopaedic instruction that are often supplied by the manufacturers! Great if you just want to crack on an get your brake bled!

Bleeding the brakes using this kit is straight forward and simple to do.

Make sure the pads are out of the caliper to prevent contamination from any oil that may drip out of the tube as you remove it from the nipple. Only down side is the need for a 7mm spanner compared to the 8mm I have on the hope. lol

This kit had everything you need to do a quick and solid bleed. I shortened both hoses on my brakes and re-bled the systems in 30 mins. There was enough shimano mineral oil to do two bleeds.

Overall a well priced, easy to use bleed kit.

This worked great, and had good instructions. It would work great with the proper shimano funnel to avoid mixing old and new fluid when draining the reservoir syringe, and I think I'll add an olive around the caliper hose to help hold it on.

Excellent bleed kit, very easy to use and you know you've got everything you need, unlike the proper shimano kit which comes in a few pieces.

You get just enough fluid for two brakes, but the instructions say if your fluid is really manly then push twice as much New fluid through, if you need to do this you'll need to order more fluid!
